  1. What is s-bag® anti-odour?

    s-bag® anti-odour is a unique synthetic dust bag which absorbs and prevents unpleasant smell from escaping the vacuum cleaner. It is ideal for pet owners who often have to cope with bad smell developing inside the cleaner. If you own a pet, you will appreciate this unique smell-buster that also removes 99% of dust, pollen, allergens and other particles.

  2. What are the benefits of s-bag® anti-odour?

    s-bag® anti-odour:

    • When organic materials, such as food scraps or pet hair, decompose inside the dust bag, an unpleasant odour can develop. This new odour absorbing agent, in the form of a wax sprayed on the entire surface of the s-bag® anti-odour absorbs the unpleasant odour and prevents it from escaping the bag.
    • Performs well in filtration: s-bag® anti-odour offers 4 layers of effective synthetic filtration material, which provides more than 2 times better filtration performance than ordinary paper dust bags.
    • Is hygienic: the unique s-bag® closing system seals the bag the moment it is removed from the vacuum cleaner, which makes the bag easy to use and highly hygienic.
    • Is highly resistant: this synthetic material in s-bag® anti-odour will not burst under powerful suction and the synthetic material will not be damaged when hard/ sharp parts (like gravel & glass) are vacuumed.

  3. What’s new in s-bag® anti-odour?

    To make it easier to fit the dust bag inside the cleaner compartment, and to improve the vacuuming efficiency, an innovative folding has been applied on the s-bag® anti-odour like the other bags in the s-bag® range.
    Compared to a flat synthetic bag, the new anti-odour version:

    • Is easier to fit in the cleaner and more flexible to adapt to a wide variety of cleaner compartments.
    • Can contain 15% more dust compared to a flat bag.
    • Lasts up to 15% longer compared to a flat bag.

  4. Why does my cleaner smell when I vacuum?

    While vacuuming, a large variety of bacteria and particles are accumulated inside the dust bag. For instance, pet hair are picked up by the cleaner and caught inside the dust bag which can result in an unpleasant smell. Moreover this environment inside the dust bag is ideal for bacteria to grow and develop unpleasant odours. When vacuuming, the air passes through the dust bag, making the air leaving the cleaner smell bad.

  5. What makes s-bag® anti-odour efficient?

    In addition to the synthetic material, which does not absorb moisture (favourable to bacteria development) as paper does, s-bag® anti-odour is treated with an odour absorbing wax whose special structure efficiently captures odours developed by bacteria and decomposing organic material, therefore avoiding unpleasant smells. The odour absorbing agent is made of zinc salt of ricinoleat, which is a natural product, non-irritant and non-toxic. This agent gives superior odour neutralization by chemical binding and furthermore the agent is applied on the entire bag surface which makes the odour absorbing process even more efficient.

  6. Can I use an air perfume in my s-bag® anti-odour?

    s-bag® anti-odour has not been developed to be used with air fresheners. Indeed, the perfume will be removed by the effect of the odour absorbing agent. The smell from the air freshener will be caught by the agent, which will be used up quicker. The odour absorbing agent captures odour molecules whatever the smell...

  7. What is the capacity of s-bag® anti-odour?

    The capacity of the bag is up to 3,5 litres (depending on the size of the dust bag compartment), which means that in normal use the bag will last for 1 to 2 months.

  8. What is s-bag® anti-odour made of?

    s-bag® anti-odour is made of polypropylene. This is the same material as that used for s-bag® classic long performance.

  9. Is s-bag® anti-odour environmentally friendly?

    s-bag® anti-odour is made of polypropylene, a material which gives off nothing toxic when burnt with household waste, only water and carbon. Furthermore, as it lasts longer than a paper bag, this means that it will have to be changed less often, therefore polluting our environment less.

  10. Can s-bag® anti-odour be used several times like a textile dust bag?

    No, s-bag® anti-odour is intended for one time use but lasts twice as long as a paper bag.

  11. How often should I change my s-bag® anti-odour?

    Your dust bag should be changed when you feel a decrease in the suction power and/or when you see it is visibly full. On average and depending on use, you should change it every 2 months, or more often if necessary.

    To ensure the best cleaner performance, we also recommend changing the motor filter and exhaust filter every 5 dust bags or when visibly soiled.

  12. Why should I always use an original s-bag®?

    This ensures that your vacuum cleaner will always perform at its best, thus avoiding any premature damage to the motor and problems linked to the guarantee.
